Chin Implant Surgery
Traditionally, a face with a chiseled look, relatively large chin and solid, angular profile has been regarded as the embodiment of masculinity. The procedure for chin implant surgery
This is usually carried as a day case under general anaesthetic. The implant is positioned beneath the skin through an incision made from inside the mouth or below the chin and sutured with dissolvable sutures. You may have an Elastoplasts dressing to stabilise the chin implant. The chin implants surgery normally takes 45 minutes to 1hour to complete.
Recovery from chin implant surgery
You may experience some local swelling but this normally settles within approximately a week, allowing you to return to work.
