A recent survey has found that one in five women want Santa to bring them a breast enlargement this holiday season.

In the UK, breast augmentation is the most popular cosmetic surgery procedure. However,it’s not only breast enhancement surgery that’s appearing on Christmas lists this year: Botox is also increasing its popularity as a gift for people keen to smooth out facial wrinkles.

In addition to the wrinkle-busting Botox, dermal fillers are also frequently offered as presents during the festive season.

Other cosmetic surgery procedures on the most-wanted list include teeth-whitening, while some women are asking for more drastic procedures such as facelifts, nose restructuring and liposuction as they prepare for the New Year.

Of the women polled, many said they were looking forward to cosmetic surgery in order to look dazzling at office Christmas parties this season. A few also noted that a facelift might help them win a pay raise.

According to the survey, men are keen to help their women purchase cosmetic surgery. More than a third of the men surveyed are planning to treat their wives and girlfriends to a festive cosmetic procedure.

In related news, research released earlier this week showed that one in five British men would like their wives to undergo plastic surgery. The majority of those surveyed wanted their spouses to have liposuction of the tummy and legs, while breast enlargements came in third place.

Over a third of the men polled claimed that they would be willing to pay for their wife’s procedures, but 75 per cent said that they would not undergo surgery themselves.
