Actress Demi Moore admits she’s not flawless
Actress Demi Moore has seemingly defied nature through her combination of exercise and diet regime to keep her looking young.
But in her new film Flawless, the mother of three plays a 90-year-old. The role of diamond executive Laura Quinn meant that 46-year-old Moore would have to play a character who outwardly displays the very thing she’s trying to avoid – looking old and wrinkled.
“It was probably one of the most objective perspectives I’ve ever had on myself,” Moore said. “It was a little bit like not looking at myself and having to find a relationship with that person.”
Moore is alleged to have had various cosmetic surgery procedures to maintain her youthful appearance. Some have speculated that Moore has spent £1.5m on the work.
In the past, Moore has been rumoured to have had a breast augmentation, liposuction, a brow lift and chemical facial peels.
But Moore says tales of her surgery are often exaggerated.
“There were multiple reports that I had my knees done. When I read that, I thought, wow, should I have been worried about my knees?”
Moore said that she has been caught up in Hollywood’s value on perfection.
“It’s important not to get yourself obsessed about age because it’s a game you’re going to lose,” she said.
“I would be lying if I said I don’t have moments of panic when I look in the mirror and see things creeping in that weren’t there before.”
But the Daily Record reports that Moore has given up her rigorous exercise regimes.
“I say everything in moderation. After three kids, gravity and nature take their toll,” Moore said.
