Kerry Katona opens up about weight loss after cosmetic surgery
Kerry Katona has opened up about her recent weight-loss and has admitted to losing six stone in less than nine months.
The former Atomic Kitten singer told OK! Magazine: “I’m eight stone now, but I want to be eight and a half. I’ll be happy then because I don’t like being this thin. I’m a bit lighter than I was in my Atomic Kitten days.”
The star has also opened up about her cosmetic surgeries. Despite undergoing liposuction and a breast augmentation about three months ago, Katona has attributed much of her weight loss to stopping medication for her bipolar disorder.
2008 was a roller coaster year for the star, after she claimed bankruptcy and went to rehab. She has said that she’s hoping 2009 will be better: “I just want this to be a good year for me. I can’t keep having these years – it’s going to kill me.”
In recent news, Katona staged a comeback this weekend at the David Gest Dinner in Liverpool – where she appeared showing off her new figure in a stunning dress.
Kerry showed off the benefits of her £15,000 worth of work she chose to undergo after having a baby. Kerry reduced her breasts from a GG to a DD in breast surgery. Her eight-hour procedure in a London clinic was filmed as part of her reality show Whole Again. At the time, Kerry also chose to undergo non-surgical treatments as well.
The star is still praising her cosmetic surgery, saying that she won’t rule out undergoing more in the future.
