Movie star Chow Yun-Fat has admitted to having cosmetic surgery in order to keep him looking young.

During a recent press conference, 53-year-old Yun-Fat admitted that he has had cosmetic surgery on his eyelids. The Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon star spoke about his surgery at a press conference in South Korea marking the release of his film Dragonball: Evolution. (more…)

New TV show transforms eighties stars

A new television series called Pop Goes The Band is bringing back stars from the eighties in order to help them improve their appearance through cosmetic surgery.

Celebrities show off cosmetic surgery on the Oscars red carpet

Each year, Hollywood’s biggest stars walk down the red carpet at the Academy Awards, showing off their dresses and, for some, their cosmetic surgery.

Celebrity-it-couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were both nominated in the best actress and best actor category. In the past, cosmetic surgeons have speculated that the couple has embraced non-surgical cosmetic procedures, with many believing Jolie has chosen to have Botox and Pitt dermal fillers. (more…)

It appears that popular performer Tom Jones has embraced an image change that has him accepting his looks and age.

In the UK, Steven Clarke, a 25-year-old engineer at Rolls-Royce, has had laser treatment at plastic surgery specialists The Harley Medical Group to remove sun scars under his eyes. It seems that younger men such as Mr Clarke and Mr Burling are part of a generation that may be more comfortable with the idea of at least the non-invasive treatments. (more…)

More men seeking eye bag removal surgery

An Irish newspaper has reported a recent boom in the number of men seeking cosmetic surgery to remove bags from under their eyes in the country.

A Harley Medical clinic in Belfast claims that men now account for one-third of all their eye bag removal procedures. They added that men visiting their clinic often say they are attempting to keep ahead of their younger colleagues in an increasingly competitive job market. (more…)

The Oscars prompt a boom in non surgical cosmetic treatments

Members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) are reporting an increase in requests for cosmetic surgery procedures in the run-up to the Academy Awards.

The surgeons have reported that the increase in pre-Oscars non-surgical cosmetic procedures is not only limited to celebrities, as spouses and those who work behind the scenes are rushing to have procedures done as well. (more…)

Defacing posters of an honest woman is no way to make a statement!

I happened to see something online today that really made me frown. It seems that people think it’s ok to vandalise posters of the lovely Claire Thornton – our newest model – and even worse write uncomplimentary things about her. If people want to protest about things they don’t believe in then fine, that doesn’t bother me at all, each to their own I say. But to say things that could be offensive to Claire when all she’s doing is sharing her true story? I think that’s outrageous. (more…)
