Boob jobs, iPhones and extra winter pounds

My mobile phone contract just ran out and, even though I didn’t really mean to, I found myself signing up for a shiny new iPhone! I was a little dubious at first and I spent most of the holiday weekend trying to get to grips with its touchscreen but now I love it. One of the best things about it is how easy it is to get online – I’ve checked my work emails out of work more often than ever over the last few days…

I was also excited to find out how easy it is to read news online on an iPhone, something that has certainly made travelling a lot more entertaining than usual. So I thought I’d share the two stories that really caught my eye. (more…)

Male cosmetic surgery booming

The number of men seeking cosmetic surgery is on the up, according to new statistics from the Harley Medical Group.

In the last 12 months, the number of males choosing to undergo a male plastic surgery procedure has increased by 26 per cent. The survey of over 15,000 patients also revealed that the groups most likely to go under the knife include city workers, civil servants and men who work in politics, law and accountancy. (more…)

Research reveals six areas of breast augmentation satisfaction

New research in the open access journal BMC Women’s Health has revealed the six major factors that affect how happy a woman feels with the outcome of her breast surgery procedure.

According to the findings, while the final appearance of the breast remains important, there are five other major influencing outcomes that affect satisfaction levels. (more…)
