It’s the perfect show to help you wind down after a jam packed summer and, although the audition stages are the episodes that make me laugh the most, I love that it helps really talented people finally realise their dreams. According to Diaz, she has undergone nose reshaping surgery in the past as she has broken her nose more than four times. The 36-year-old, known for her ultra-slim figure, also expressed a yearning for a shapelier body. (more…)

Careers and Brangelina effect boosting cosmetic surgery
Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009A recent study has suggested that while intelligence is instrumental in securing a successful career, good looks can also play a part in clinching promotions or pay rises.
The research, published in the American Psychological Association’s Journal of Applied Psychology, questioned a group of 191 people aged between 25 to 75 years on topics ranging from income to levels of confidence and educational achievement. WAToday reports that respondents were also required to undergo intelligence tests and their attractiveness was measured by the study team. (more…)

Breast reductions reduce pain for many
Monday, June 1st, 2009Recent figures have indicated that a large number of women choosing breast reduction surgery are doing so to alleviate pain.
While breast reductions are the fifth most common cosmetic surgery procedure in the US, many of the women who opt for the surgery are undergoing it for non-cosmetic reasons. Large breasts – or macromastia – can cause pain, discomfort, rashes and a restriction of activates. (more…)
