According to Hollywood news, Michael has recently been talking about changing his image and the outing to visit Dr Michael Persky could be a step in that direction. Michael was accompanied by girlfriend Kate Major, who was also photographed getting Botox.

New figures from Down Under suggest that Australia, like the UK, is experiencing a boom in cosmetic surgery in the run up to Christmas.

According to Sify News, Peter Callan, president of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, said there was a spike in all cosmetic surgery procedures in the country, and that women in their 20s and 30s were more inclined to book breast enlargement treatments while those in their 30s and 40s were more likely to book Botox or fillers. Singing sensation Christina Aguilera has reopened speculation about a potential boob job following an appearance in Tokyo.

The star was promoting her new film, Burlesque, when photographers snapped pictures that later led to speculation. According to the Daily Mail, experts have suggested that the pictures – which show what could be a subtle scar in the singer’s armpit – prove Christina has been under the knife. (more…)

The star is well known for her stunning good looks, and the last few years have seen Angelina surrounded by speculation when it comes to her ability to stay so beautiful. I was going to write another blog about Christmas this week, but I was just so inspired by a recent news story about single women in their 60s I just couldn’t resist. Basically, it was a lovely interview in the Daily Mail that talked to three women who were in their 60s and absolutely loving it. A lot of the time older people simply get discounted these days, but it really is true that it’s easier than ever to stay young at heart for longer. (more…)

Actor George Clooney has voiced his opinion that young people shouldn’t be looking to age defying cosmetic surgery to improve their looks.

The heartthrob suggested that people under the age of 25 were really too young to be worrying about looking old, and that there must be another reason for their unhappiness with their looks. Figures from The Harley Medical Group show a 35 per cent surge in the number of appointments booked in the month before Christmas and that the most popular surgical treatments in the run up to the 2010 festive season have been: breast enlargement, nose reshaping, and liposuction procedures. A new cosmetic surgery makeover show is set to concentrate on transforming the looks of famous mistresses.

The show, titled Mistress Makeovers “Starting Over”, will star mistresses to rich and influential figures n the public eye such as Joslyn James and Jamie Jungers, both of who were mistresses to Tiger Woods, January Gessert mistress to Reggie Bush and Brittany Jones, who is alleged to have been Ashton Kutcher’s mistress.
