Michelle Heaton reveals her post-surgery figure after double mastectomy
Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton has been showing off her new figure after having reconstructive surgery following a double mastectomy.
The 33-year-old songstress appeared on a morning TV show with her bandmates to promote their one-off reunion gig The Big Reunion.
Heaton chose to have a double mastectomy when she discovered she had an 80 per cent chance of developing breast cancer after being diagnosed with a mutated BRCA2 gene.
She then had breast reconstructive surgery following her operation and is clearly pleased with the results, as she showed off her new chest in a plunging, low-cut dress.
TV talk show host Lorraine Kelly said: “First of all, we have to say a massive hurrah to the boobies.”
“Yep, the boobies are out,” Heaton replied.
Liberty X formed after the five members were eliminated from the final rounds of Popstars in 2001 and went on to have hits with songs like Just A Little.
