World’s first supermodel pledges support for cosmetic surgery

American supermodel Janice Dickinson has told an Australian newspaper that she supports women who have cosmetic surgery.

The self-proclaimed “world’s first supermodel” first achieved fame in the fashion industry in the 1970s and 1980s. In recent years, she has appeared as a judge on reality TV show America’s Next Top Model, after which she launched her own reality television programme, The Janice Dickinson Modelling Agency.
