Each year, Hollywood’s biggest stars walk down the red carpet at the Academy Awards, showing off their dresses and, for some, their cosmetic surgery.

Celebrity-it-couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were both nominated in the best actress and best actor category. In the past, cosmetic surgeons have speculated that the couple has embraced non-surgical cosmetic procedures, with many believing Jolie has chosen to have Botox and Pitt dermal fillers. (more…)

US survey shows women trusting cosmetic surgery for workplace edge

New research has shown that many American women are turning to plastic surgery to give them an edge during the economic recession.

The survey compiled by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) spoke to over 700 women between the ages of 18 and 64, and many revealed they felt cosmetic surgery procedures were an important boost to their career success. (more…)

Liposuction could boost cleavage

Liposuction carried out below the waist could produce an increase in breast size, according to US-based cosmetic surgeon.

Florida’s firstcoastnews.com reports that when the Texas-based surgeon carried out liposuction to remove excess fat from a patient’s hips, her breasts rose from an A to a B cup. (more…)
