Megan Fox is back in the spotlight, thanks to the launch of her new movie and renewed cosmetic surgery rumours.
Bloggers have not been shy in speaking their mind about the 25-year-old’s latest appearance on the red carpet for the premiere of Friends with Kids, which sparked fresh rumours that she has had cosmetic treatments, possibly dermal fillers.
Prolific blogger Celebitchy.com wrote a post entitled: ‘Megan Fox at the Friends with Kids premiere: Did she get cheek implants?’

Research has shown that those living down under are coming out on top when it comes to the number of people having surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures.
Australians have overtaken Americans in having such treatments as Botox, dermal fillers and surgery such as breast enlargement, liposuction and facelifts.

Ex-Eastenders actress Daniella Westbrook has revealed that she may consider Botox and other non-surgical treatments to reverse signs of ageing.
The 38-year-old blames her hectic lifestyle and celebrity status for the lines and wrinkles she says she is now aware of. She also said she would like to address her weight, which currently stands at 10st, as she is at her heaviest.

Botox is set to be the star of a play being performed at the Greenock Arts Guild in Scotland from March 1.
‘Big Pants and Botox’, a play written by Louise Roche, author of ‘Girls’ Night’, attracted critical acclaim when it went on tour last year, and is set to continue its run of success well into 2012.

Micro-messaging site Twitter is said to have passed the milestone of 500 million registered users yesterday, and one American plastic surgeon is keen on making friends with as many of them as possible.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, an Atlanta-based cosmetic surgery expert is making the most out of the social networking revolution that is sweeping the world, and thanks to some canny marketing now has more than 100,000 people following him on Twitter.

Pictures of Victoria Beckham at New York Fashion Week have prompted speculation that she has had Botox and other injectable treatments.
The popstar-turned-fashion designer, and wife of international footballer David Beckham, looked chic and sophisticated, with her long dark hair hanging in loose waves and not a line, wrinkle or sign of ageing in sight.
In a feature published by the Daily Mail, one cosmetic surgery expert explained that Victoria’s thin face proves that she has probably not had any fillers, but he said she may well have had Botox and laser skin treatment.

More men than ever before are having cosmetic surgery and non-surgical treatments.
This is according to Dr Marc Lussier, a cosmetic surgeon practicing in Los Angeles, whose opinions are backed up by the latest figures from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).
Dr Lussier said he has noticed a rise in the number of men visiting his clinic for Botox (to treat frown lines and wrinkles), gynaecomastia (surgery to reduce the appearance of “man boobs”) and liposuction. He added that they are choosing cosmetic surgery not only to enhance their looks but also to improve their self confidence and chance of success when applying for jobs.

Actress Joan Rivers isn’t the only person having cosmetic surgery, in fact in fact the number of procedures being carried out recently hit the highest levels since the boom in 2005 according to the latest figures from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).
Last year, 1.6 million Americans had cosmetic surgery – this followed a drop in numbers during 2009 and a boom of 2.1 million in 2005.

Wives and girlfriends are increasingly choosing to pay for their partners to undergo cosmetic surgery treatments.
That’s according to aesthetic nurse consultant Martin Scattergood, who says the perception of cosmetic treatment is changing. Speaking to the Yorkshire Post newspaper, the Sheffield-based cosmetic expert said dermal fillers, Botox and chemical peels are all procedures that have become popular with men as well as women.
