This year’s MTV music awards have sparked further rumours of stars such as Britney Spears choosing to have cosmetic surgery procedures.

Spears, 29, who won the Video Vanguard Award and the award for the Best Pop Video, and Lady Gaga, 25, winter of the Best Female Video award and Best Video with a Message award, were the two celebrities causing the most stir. Gaga recently denied that the horn-like lumps on her head and shoulders were artificial and denies having had a nose job, despite before and after pictures strongly suggesting otherwise.

X Factor contestant Kitty Brucknell has revealed that she had liposuction in order to emulate her idol’s slim figure.

Brucknell, who wowed the judges with an acappela version of Lady Gaga’s Edge of Glory, was voted through to boot camp despite her strange antics.

Singer Britney Spears is rumoured to be getting cosmetic surgery in a bid to even out her breasts.

The pop sensation, who was nominated for two awards for the video accompanying her latest single ‘Till the world ends’, is reported to be unhappy with the look of her breasts since giving birth to her two children.

A source close to the singer told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “It’s been bothering her for a while, especially since she saw pictures of herself with no bra and felt it was fairly noticeable.

Viewers of Saturday night’s auditions on the latest series of Britain’s Got Talent got more than they bargained for when Britney Spears impersonator, Lorna Bliss, stripped off for her three minutes of fame.

The 32-year-old may well be the most outrageous wannabe yet with her nearly-naked rendition of hit single Toxic. Bliss, who wore a black dressing gown to talk to the judges, paraded about wearing nothing but a white thong and hundreds of stick-on body jewels, in her tribute act to the American superstar.

Bliss admits to having spent £135,000 on cosmetic surgery to look like the star, saying before she went on stage that, “if Britney tightens up, I tighten up”. She even shaved her head when Britney did and has all the same tattoos as the singer.

Judges Amanda Holden, David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre were shocked but intrigued, not pressing their red buzzers until the performance had almost come to an end. But they were not intrigued enough to put her through to the next round and Bliss left empty handed – or did she? Some critics have suggested that the impersonator is actually quite good and performed like she did in order to grab the headlines and a few minutes in the spotlight.

Blonde pop bombshell Britney Spears has bared (nearly) all in a photoshoot and interview with American women’s magazine Out, including the fact that she would consider having plastic surgery.

The 29-year-old singer, who has had top 10 hits with Hit Me Baby One More Time, Oops!…I Did It Again, and Born To Make You Happy, talked about her likes, dislikes, idols, diet and her career. She revealed that her career idol is, and always has been, Madonna and that she is excited to be turning 30 this year.

Of cosmetic surgery, she said: “When it’s time to pull and tuck, I’m sure I will consider it.”

Spears also talked of her views on gay marriage – she thinks everyone should be treated equally and have the right to marry – and that she would have loved to have taken Rihanna’s place on Eminem’s track Love The Way You Lie.

Pop star Britney Spears has bounced back and is in the midst of staging a comeback with a world tour for her new album Circus.

And now Spears is the envy of women once again, with her face and figure being widely requested by cosmetic surgery patients in the US. (more…)

The latest in a line of celebrity cosmetic surgery stories, Gwyneth Paltrow’s new fuller figure has sparked breast enlargement rumours in the media.

Reports are circulating that Jamie Lynn Spears, pop diva Britney Spears’ 17-year-old sister, had liposuction earlier this year before realising that she was pregnant.

A source told Star magazine: “She didn’t know she was pregnant when she filled out the health questionnaire prior to the procedure.

“Her mom approved the injections and went through tons of red tape to get the clinic to administer them to an underage patient.” (more…)
