A new survey has reported a boom in cosmetic surgery operations amongst people aged 45 to 65 years in the UK.
According to the research conducted by the Harley Medical Group, the number of ‘silver surgery’ procedures carried out in 2008 doubled, with the majority of respondents citing a second marriage as their primary motivation. (more…)

A new eyebrow transplant procedure is fast gaining popularity as a new cosmetic surgery option in the UK, according to the British Association of Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
The Telegraph reports that the treatment, which was first carried out in the US to reconstruct the eyebrows of burns victims, is being requested by patients in Britain who have spent their lives over-tweezing their brows. (more…)
Charlie Sheen has been enjoying the limelight – in more ways than one. The television show in which he stars, Two and a Half Men, recently returned on air, the previous season of the programme was released on DVD and he was nominated for an Emmy for his role as a Lead Actor in a Comedy.
