Singer Cher, of Sonny and Cher fame, has been spotted wearing a face mask while in the back of her chauffeur driven car.
The 65-year-old, who has never made a secret of her bid to stay looking forever young, was spotted in the passenger seat of the Bentley with a white face mask on. Paparazzi snapped her through the window of the car as it was driven through central Malibu, California.
Legendary singer Cher has revealed that she sees old age as something that just gets in the way of her life as a performer.
Despite turning 65 this year, Cher is in incredibly good shape but says she is not one of those women who is prepared to grow old gracefully.
She said: “I would love to be one of those women who are just so happy with their age and all that – but I just don’t believe it. For me, old age just gets in my way.”
Songstress Cher is more than used to being in the spotlight, but her appearance at the London premier of Burlesque has put her in a bit of a sticky situation – due to Daily Mail snaps of her with sticky tape along her jaw line. This is a classic trick used by actresses all throughout the history of Hollywood, but it seems a strange one for Cher to be sporting in this day and age – especially as she’s such a big fan of cosmetic surgery. The ‘Believe’ singer, who has also had a successful career in Hollywood, is clearly not content to lead a shy and retiring life away from the limelight, even into her 60s. Here’s a searching question for all you beauty queens: how old were you when you first started wearing make-up? I begged my mum to buy me some eyeliner when I was eight but it wasn’t until I was 14 that she let me dabble with her make-up. She let me buy my own soon enough after that- sorry for ruining all your favourite lipsticks mum. I can understand why she tried to hold me off now; after all, she just wanted me to enjoy being a kid for as long as possible. But, as I continued to long for that first splash of black (or purple!) on my lids or that subtle hint of rouge on my cheekbones, the mesmerising thought of wearing make-up and “being grown-up” never left my mind. Cher’s residency at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas continues to thrive, as do reports that the legendary music diva could have had more cosmetic surgery.
