BB stars Ulrika and Vanessa discuss love of non surgical treatments

Ultimate Big Brother contestants Ulrika Jonsson and Vanessa Feltz have been open about their feelings towards cosmetic surgery since re-entering the house, and on Monday night discussed their shared love of non surgical treatments to reduce the signs of ageing.

Asked by Brian Dowling whether she would go under the knife for cosmetic surgery, Vanessa admitted that she had a gastric band fitted, but did not reveal whether she had undergone any invasive plastic surgery.

Women choose cosmetic treatments as World Cup treats

With men around the country glued to their sets over the next month as they follow the World Cup action, their partners are making sure they aren’t left on the sidelines, by taking the opportunity for a makeover.

Last weekend saw a surge in the number of women booking in for wrinkle relaxing injections such as Botox and other non surgical cosmetic solutions. (more…)

Give us a smile, or at least get rid of that frown

If there’s one piece of small talk that gets on my nerves, it’s when people ask me to give them a smile. I mean, I like to think of myself as a pretty up-beat person and I think that’s reflected in my general appearance. But you can’t smile all the time can you? In fact, sometimes I find myself frowning a little more than I’d like to – as do many of my friends – and a furrowed brow is not the look I’m going for. (more…)
