Rumours fly that Kim Kardashian’s dad has had another face lift

Wednesday, January 18th, 2012

Has he or hasn’t he had another face lift? That is the question being asked about Kim Kardashian’s father Bruce Jenner by Hollywood’s press.

According to online publication Hollywood Life, Mr Jenner was seen with a bruised face and fresh scar at an L.A. Lakers game, tell-tale signs of facial cosmetic surgery. This is not the first time that the former Olympic runner has been connected with age-defying procedures, and in the past his daughters have always publicly denied the rumours.

This included during filming of the family’s reality television show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, when Kim said he had not had a face lift.

Before and after pictures of Mr Jenner suggest that he has had surgical or non-surgical procedures to reverse the ageing process, however these rumours have not been confirmed.

Kris Kardashian approached by Sharon Osbourne about face lift
Kris Kardashian, mother of socialite Kim Kardashian and siblings Kourtney and Khloe, has revealed that music mogul Sharon Osbourne was direct in asking her about her face lift.
Kris had a face lift earlier this year and said that she admired the straightforward reaction of Sharon, wife of veteran rock star Ozzy Osbourne.
“I have a lot of respect for Sharon,” she said, quoted in Heat magazine. “We met recently and she said, ‘Darling, I love your face’.
“Everybody clearly wanted to ask what work I’d had done, but she was the only one brave enough to ask.”
The Kardashian women are well-known for their well-kept appearances – and mother Kris is no exception.
“I think Kim does have my butt, for sure,” she said of her 30-year-old daughter.
“I won’t say what they are, but we have some of the same body issues, so it’s great to talk things through with her.”

Face lift not just dependant on age

Thursday, June 9th, 2011

stk212507rkeNew research has found that age shouldn’t be the only factor when deciding whether or not a patient is suitable for face lift surgery.

HealthDay News reports the findings of analysis by researchers at the Cleveland Clinic today, which shows how well patients of different ages fared after face lift surgery.

The study questioned 216 women, with 148 of them younger than 65 and the rest older. It found that the rates of complication were not statistically different between the two age groups. Researchers say that the study, published in the online journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, proves that age alone cannot be used to predict risk prior to a cosmetic surgery procedure.

However, James Zins, chairman of the Cleveland Clinic, highlighted the need to properly assess elderly patients.

In a press release he said: “It should not be generalized from the study that elderly patients can undergo a facelift operation with the same low complication rate as seen in the younger age group. Careful screening of the elderly patients, and excluding those with significant co-morbidities, led to the low complication rate.”
