Reality television star Heidi Montag has revealed that her bikini body is down to cosmetic surgery and to working out for 14 hours each day.

The 24-year-old has lost 27 pounds in two weeks and has posed for photographs in a peach-coloured bikini to show off her newly toned figure. Montag was already very slim but has told US Magazine that after 10 cosmetic surgery procedures, and an unrelenting exercise regime, she is happy with the way she looks. (more…)

For some reason, I tend to think that celebrities will always just automatically choose the best of everything. They’ll shop in the best shops, stay in the best hotels, eat the best food – but every now and then I’m reminded that just because someone is famous, it doesn’t mean they necessarily make the right choices – even about the important things.

So what’s got me thinking about all this? Well, I have to admit that it may have something to do with Jordan – or Katie Price as she’s maybe better known now. Katie has had some cosmetic surgery that’s really been to her advantage in the past – just think of that initial boob job – but these days I can’t help worrying she’s going a little over the top with the Botox and fillers. The strange mixture between what seemed to be a reality TV show and a teen drama had me quite bamboozled, but I’d never seen Laguna Beach and my friends told me it would have made a lot more sense if I had. Well, I had a feeling the news reports about Heidi Montag might have been a little over the top or extremist – and now it looks like I was on the right track. The star of that kind of addictive but slightly strange reality TV show The Hills has been giving all kinds of dramatic interviews about her supposed 10 cosmetic surgery procedures in one day – even claiming that she ‘almost died’. Hollywood icon Lauren Conrad, who rose to fame on MTV show The Hills, has been talking to Access Hollywood about cosmetic surgery.

Although the 23-year-old starlet has been subject to rumours that she underwent a rhinoplasty in the past, she says she doesn’t have plans to undergo surgery. However, the star hasn’t ruled out getting Botox injections in the future when her skin begins to wrinkle. (more…)
