Not only was it an entertaining show, but it actually highlighted some important issues. Glamour model Danielle Lloyd loves Botox

British glamour model Danielle Lloyd has admitted to having Botox injections in her face and says she loves the effect the treatment has on her appearance.

The 24-year old model, who came to national prominence after appearing on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007, has previously had Botox injected in her armpits to stop her from sweating. (more…)

TV show sparks BACD call for dermal filler regulations

A cosmetic surgery focused documentary made for ITV, called Face to Face, has caused the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors (BADC) to announce support for calls for tighter regulations of the dermal fillers market.

The BACD, a not-for-profit organisation, cornered with the advancement, education and practice of cosmetic surgery in the UK, issued a statement that voiced concerns about the training practices of non-medical personnel in non-surgical treatments such as dermal fillers. (more…)

Cosmetic surgery TV show inspires Leslie Ash to have a facelift

Actor and presenter Leslie Ash has revealed that she is planning to have a facelift when she turns 50.

The 48-year-old Men Behaving Badly star was inspired to change her mind on cosmetic surgery following working on a television documentary that investigates the industry and attitudes towards plastic surgery. During the making of the show, a plastic surgeon suggested that a facelift could be a viable option to remedy the botched surgery she underwent in 2002, where poor lip implants led to a paralysed upper lip and a resulting look known as a “Trout Pout”. Actress Leslie Ash will investigate the world of cosmetic surgery in Los Angeles for a new ITV documentary, entitled “Leslie Ash: Face to Face”.

The 48-year-old Men Behaving Badly star hit the headlines in 2002, when she underwent lip surgery that saw her mouth swell significantly. (more…)
