Last night’s Top Gear saw a guest appearance from Louis Walsh and a surprise topic of conversation – Botox.
In the light-hearted interview with host Jeremy Clarkson, Walsh confirmed that music mogul Simon Cowell had indeed bought the X Factor judges Botox vouchers for Christmas. The admission drew incredulous looks from Clarkson and laughs from the crowd when Walsh revealed that he hadn’t used them.
Irish band manager Louis Walsh has admitted that he would have more cosmetic surgery if it meant he secured his place on the judging panel for the latest series of the X Factor.
The 58-year-old has already admitted to having surgery to remove his eye bags and cosmetic treatments to whiten his teeth, allegedly on Simon Cowell’s insistence. Walsh last night told reporters that cosmetic surgery was essential in his industry and that “if you want to last, you have to do it.”
The music mogul’s comments come amid reports that one of the show’s regular judges, Dannii Minogue, has already been axed, with her replacement yet to be announced. Cowell, 51, has been concentrating on the promotion of the US version of the talent show, taking Cheryl Cole with him to join Paula Abdul on the judging panel. He is yet to comment on the controversy surrounding Minogue or Walsh.
Music mogul Simon Cowell certainly isn’t shy about his love of Botox and cosmetic surgery, or sharing his opinions when it comes to potential surgery for his friends.
The star of the X Factor is reported to have given his fellow judges £3,000 worth of Botox vouchers as thank you gifts at the conclusion of the successful show. (more…)

Recent reports have suggested that X Factor panellist and music mogul Louis Walsh may be set to join his fellow judges and choose cosmetic surgery to improve his looks.
According to The Sun, the Irishman is considering surgery to remove his wrinkles following the urgings of X Factor creator Simon Cowell. Simon has apparently advised the 57 year old to have blepharoplasty – a treatment to remove the bags under his eyes. (more…)
