In the UK, Steven Clarke, a 25-year-old engineer at Rolls-Royce, has had laser treatment at plastic surgery specialists The Harley Medical Group to remove sun scars under his eyes. More men seeking eye bag removal surgery

An Irish newspaper has reported a recent boom in the number of men seeking cosmetic surgery to remove bags from under their eyes in the country.

A Harley Medical clinic in Belfast claims that men now account for one-third of all their eye bag removal procedures. They added that men visiting their clinic often say they are attempting to keep ahead of their younger colleagues in an increasingly competitive job market. (more…)

I’ve been seeing more and more news lately about the amount of men having cosmetic procedures like liposuction and Botox. It’s nice that people have started to realise that it’s not just woman who like to look their best!

Male chest reduction ops continue to rise

The number of male chest reduction operations performed in the UK is continuing to rise, according to one leading surgeon.

Raj Ragoowansi, a consultant plastic surgeon at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in east London, told Radio 1’s Newsbeat that he has seen a significant rise in the number of men requesting the procedure in the last three months. (more…)

Gay men lead UK’s rising cosmetic surgery demand

New research has revealed that gay men are leading the demand for male cosmetic surgery procedures in the UK.

A study conducted by Gay Times, a leading gay magazine, showed that 22 per cent of respondents had undergone cosmetic surgery, with a further 69 per cent claiming that they would like to do so. (more…)
