Joan Rivers talks straight about cosmetic surgery
Tuesday, March 24th, 2009Joan Rivers, comedian and straight-talking cosmetic surgery icon, has just announced a four-night live stand-up act in New York, shortly after releasing a pair of new books.
Ms Rivers’ new books straddle two sides of the writing divide: in February 2009, she released the fictional story Murder at the Academy Awards: A Red Carpet Mystery; and in December last year, her non-fiction account hit the shelves, entitled Men Are Stupid… And They Like Big Boobs: A Woman’s Guide to Beauty Through Plastic Surgery.
