Arlene Phillips considering more Botox

Arlene Phillips has revealed that she is considering having more Botox for TV roles.

The former Strictly Come Dancing presenter said she “probably would” have the treatment again, and has stated her support for women choosing all forms of cosmetic surgery, telling Good Housekeeping magazine: “If something works, go and do it is what I think.” (more…)

Well, who would have known that the start to 2010 would be quite this chilly? The snow has been incredible across the UK. Beautiful, yes, especially over the holidays – but it’s a bit more problematic when it comes to getting to work in the morning! Botox can ease overbuilt jaw muscles

Botox continues to add to its wide range of applications with news that the non surgical injectable can be used to ease the discomfort and appearance of overbuilt jaw muscles.

Botox is best known for its wrinkle smoothing properties but there are many other uses for the treatment, including pain relief. The Daily Mail reports that the latest use aims to reduce the appearance of unsightly jaw muscles that have become over defined. (more…)

Cosmetic surgery predicted to grow in US

New research is predicting that the cosmetic surgery industry is set to grow in America.

Numbers from the Freedonia Group show that the US cosmetic surgery industry could grow to total around $18.2m (£12.2m) by 2012, meaning an increase of about seven per cent year on year.

According to ICIS.com, the research group noted: “Demand will be driven by an increasing number of individuals who spend their disposable income on cosmetic surgery procedures to improve their appearance and enhance self-esteem.” (more…)
