Has Cameron Diaz had cosmetic surgery?

Cameron Diaz’s appearance at Paris Fashion Week has sparked rumours that the Hollywood actress has had cosmetic surgery.

Looking youthful in a simple cream lace dress and a short blonde bob, the star looked much younger than her 39 years and journalists were quick to speculate on how she had achieved this. In a report by online news site Radar, plastic surgeon Dr Anthony Youn said he thought she may have had Botox treatments or another procedure in order to defy the ageing process.

Dr Youn said: “There’s something about Cameron Diaz’s face that is very unusual.

More men getting cosmetic surgery than ever before

New figures show that an increasing number of men are turning to cosmetic surgery in order to improve their looks.

Data compiled by The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons found there has been a 7 per cent rise in the number of men opting to have procedures carried out. A report by the Daily Mirror said rhinoplasty has become increasingly popular, as have male chest reduction operations.

Patients look younger after nose jobs

People who opt to have their noses reshaped tend to look younger after surgery, regardless of their age, researchers have suggested.

A study carried out at the University of Toronto in Canada involved 53 men and women between the ages of 15 and 61 who had undergone rhinoplasty operations.

Investment banker tells Oprah Winfrey cosmetic surgery boosted her career

A 55-year-old investment banker has told US TV chat show host Oprah Winfrey how numerous cosmetic surgery procedures helped to further her career.

The woman, who works on Wall Street and has decided to remain anonymous, believes her looks and the confidence she gained from improving her appearance have been the making of her career.

Leona Lewis in nose job rumours after X Factor appearance

Bleeding Heart singer Leona Lewis’ appearance at Wembley Arena over the weekend has led to speculation that the former X Factor star has had a nose job.

The 26-year-old took to the stage on Saturday night as part of ITV’s live finals show to perform her latest single Hurt, and fans immediately took to Twitter to chat about her apparently altered appearance.

Boob jobs and nose jobs most popular procedures

Plastic surgery procedures that are “visible” are proving to be the most popular with female patients.

Nose jobs, boob jobs and face lifts have topped a list of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures for 2010. According to the latest industry figures, 38,274 surgical procedures were carried out in 2010, compared with 36,482 in the previous year – an increase of 5 per cent. Of those who underwent procedures, almost 90 per cent (34,413) were women.

Reality television star insures breasts for $1m

100097441Holly Madison, star of hit US reality television show The Girls Next Door, has reportedly insured her breasts for $1m.

Using the internationally renowned insurance firm Lloyd’s of London, the 5’5” model, who made her name starring alongside playboy founder Hugh Hefner, has taken out a policy which covers her against loss of earnings for up to a cool $1m should anything happens to her breasts.

Scottish surgeons join forces against cosmetic cowboys

According to a report by the Scottish Sun, the 10 experts decided to come together and formed Confidence Cosmetic Surgery due to the number of stories of patients suffering problems during and after surgery.

Male cosmetic surgery on the rise in Azerbaijan

stk212523rkeAn increasing number of men in Azerbaijan are turning to cosmetic surgery to improve their looks.

According to one plastic surgeon based in former Soviet Bloc country, just 20 per cent of people considering plastic surgery were men in 2005/06. Today that figure stands at 40 per cent.

Speaking to the Azerbaijan Press Agency, plastic surgeon Sevinj Tabrizli said there are now around 20 clinics in the country’s capital, which carry out an estimated 3,000 plastic surgery operations every year including nose jobs and liposuction.
