Cher, one of the most popular female singers of the last half century, showed off her elegant cosmetic surgery enhanced body this weekend at a performance in Las Vegas.

The vocalist wore her iconic black body-suit revealing her excellent 62 year old figure. The skimpy, sequined costume first caused a stir at a concert in 1992 when Cher was 45, but her most recent outing in the body suit shows how successfully she’s been able to turn back time and maintain her youthful silhouette. Men flock to clinics for cosmetic surgery

While women have been drawn to cosmetic surgery for many years, there has been a recent rise in the number of men seeking procedures.

According to a report in the Mirror, procedures like liposuction and male chest reductions have increased in the past year. In addition, rhinoplasty and eyelid surgeries are also in demand from men.

The numbers have been unveiled in a study from the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), which notes that the demand for male cosmetic surgery has risen by close to 300 per cent. Of that, male chest reductions are up 44 per cent, and brow lifts have increased by 60 per cent. (more…)

Dancing With The Stars frontwoman enjoys non-surgical treatments

Australia’s Dancing With The Stars host Sonia Kruger has come out saying she’s embraced non-surgical cosmetic procedures.

The 43-year-old host has revealed that she’s dabbled in cosmetic surgery procedures including Botox, and that she sees no problem in improving on nature.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Kruger said: “They asked me if I wanted to give it a shot, maybe it was when I was on 11AM, and I said what the hell.” (more…)

Pop superstar Kylie reveals help from Botox

Popstar Kylie Minogue has admitted she’s had cosmetic surgery in order to delay the signs of aging.

The songstress said she had Botox injections to ensure that her face remains wrinkle-free. The 40-year-old Australian also hinted that she may have chosen to undergo other cosmetic procedures.

According to the List, Minogue told Elle magazine: “I’m definitely not one of those people who says, ‘You shouldn’t do this.’ Everyone individually can do what they want. I also think it doesn’t have the stigma that it had when I was growing up. (more…)

Joan Rivers, comedian and straight-talking cosmetic surgery icon, has just announced a four-night live stand-up act in New York, shortly after releasing a pair of new books.

Ms Rivers’ new books straddle two sides of the writing divide: in February 2009, she released the fictional story Murder at the Academy Awards: A Red Carpet Mystery; and in December last year, her non-fiction account hit the shelves, entitled Men Are Stupid… And They Like Big Boobs: A Woman’s Guide to Beauty Through Plastic Surgery. US cosmetic surgery 2008 trends put breast enlargements on top

New numbers have shown that breast augmentations have come out on top of American cosmetic surgery trends in 2008.

Breast surgery eclipsed liposuction as the procedure of choice for American women last year. The survey from the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery found that many women are now choosing to exercise in order to get rid of excess fat. (more…)

Each year, Hollywood’s biggest stars walk down the red carpet at the Academy Awards, showing off their dresses and, for some, their cosmetic surgery.

Celebrity-it-couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were both nominated in the best actress and best actor category. In the past, cosmetic surgeons have speculated that the couple has embraced non-surgical cosmetic procedures, with many believing Jolie has chosen to have Botox and Pitt dermal fillers. (more…)
