Celebrities show off cosmetic surgery on the Oscars red carpet

Each year, Hollywood’s biggest stars walk down the red carpet at the Academy Awards, showing off their dresses and, for some, their cosmetic surgery.

Celebrity-it-couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were both nominated in the best actress and best actor category. In the past, cosmetic surgeons have speculated that the couple has embraced non-surgical cosmetic procedures, with many believing Jolie has chosen to have Botox and Pitt dermal fillers. (more…)

New research has indicated that the cosmetic surgery market is defying the global economic downturn, as business booms thanks to Brits that want to invest in their looks through cosmetic surgery procedures.

Survey shows increasing demand for boob jobs

More UK women are choosing to increase their bust size and purchasing breast implants, according to a new study.

The figures show more women, and even some men, are choosing to undergo breast augmentation than ever before, with the number of breast enlargement surgeries increasing by 27 per cent.

“When gravity takes its toll, you’re left with boobs that really only look good in a push-up bra,” said model Jodie Marsh who underwent a breast enlargement last year. (more…)

A new poll has found that more men are becoming comfortable with the idea of women enhancing their appearance through cosmetic surgery.

Of the 500 men surveyed, there’s only a two per cent gap between the number of men who say they are turned off by facial cosmetic surgery, and men who say they don’t mind. (more…)
