While Kelly Osbourne has long been a vocal supporter of cosmetic surgery, she has lately been protesting that her recent weight loss was achieved naturally.

The TV personality appeared on American TV show Dancing with the Stars last year, and the experience provided a catalyst when it came to her weight. Past X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue are currently at loggerheads again, following the publication of an extract from Dannii’s new autobiography.

Titled Dannii: My Story, the book details the feud that emerged between the two cosmetic surgery fans during their time on the hit TV show. Dannii alleged that Sharon ruined her first night on the show and that the difficulties between the stars continued throughout the whole series. (more…)

Recent reports have suggested that X Factor panellist and music mogul Louis Walsh may be set to join his fellow judges and choose cosmetic surgery to improve his looks.

According to The Sun, the Irishman is considering surgery to remove his wrinkles following the urgings of X Factor creator Simon Cowell. Simon has apparently advised the 57 year old to have blepharoplasty – a treatment to remove the bags under his eyes. (more…)

Feisty Sharon Osbourne is one of those stars that you can’t help being fascinated by – especially as she’s certainly not one to keep her opinions to herself. Last week she struck out at celebrities that lie about any cosmetic surgery they’ve had done, going to far as to call them “lying b**tches”!

In a fit of vitriol, the America’s Got Talent judge slammed celebs that have procedures done but aren’t honest about it – and to tell you the truth I’ve got her back on this one. Like she says, why lie about it? There’s nothing wrong with wanting to make sure you look as good as you possibly can. Australian star Nicole Kidman came under fire in particular as Sharon pondered why the actress denied using Botox or other non surgical wrinkle relaxants when she was convinced that the fair skinned beauty does. While supermodel Twiggy says she hasn’t had any cosmetic surgery herself, she does not condemn it and might be open to procedures in the future.

The sixties icon, born Lesley Hornby, has retained her good looks as she approaches her own sixties and says that her sensible diet and exercise plan is to thank for her still trim figure.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Twiggy said: “Subtle work can make some people look better. For instance, if I’d had a big hooter, surgery would have made me feel and look better. But some people go to ridiculous lengths.” (more…)

With the economy having taken a sharp turn for the worse, cosmetic surgery would presumably be the last thing on people’s minds. However, recent reports have revealed that the tightening credit crunch has, in fact, had little effect on the frequency of cosmetic surgery procedures. Some even say that cosmetic surgery is more important within a dwindling job market where any advantages – including that of enhanced physical appearance – can make a big difference. (more…)
