Woman sets record for most cosmetic surgery procedures

Wednesday, April 6th, 2011

Cindy Jackson, 55, has had 52 cosmetic surgery procedures and spent more than $100,000 dollars over the last few years.

Jackson, who is from Ohio in America, but is living in the UK, revealed in an interview with ABC News that only 14 of the operations were full-scale and performed under general anaesthetic. She explained that the rest were minimally-invasive, non-surgical procedures such as Botox, skin peels, laser hair removal and cosmetic dentistry.

She was bullied at school and says that her ambition was always simply to look better, not to set records.

“For me, the best result is one that looks natural. I wouldn’t ever want anyone to stop and stare at me and say: ‘That woman’s had a lot of surgery.’ I would never want to look like I’d had anything done”, she said.

Jackson went on to say that she believes we don’t have to look like our parents if we don’t want to and that people should take advantage of medical progress if they want to change the way they look.
