A hair salon in Westcliff, Essex has hired a cosmetic surgery star as a new beautician in their business.
Sarah Burge has undergone more than £200,000 worth of cosmetic surgery – making her an expert on the beauty business. Now the 49-year-old is expected to join the staff at Saint Hair and Beauty Salon as a part-time beautician later this month. (more…)

More UK women are choosing to increase their bust size and purchasing breast implants, according to a new study.
The figures show more women, and even some men, are choosing to undergo breast augmentation than ever before, with the number of breast enlargement surgeries increasing by 27 per cent.
“When gravity takes its toll, you’re left with boobs that really only look good in a push-up bra,” said model Jodie Marsh who underwent a breast enlargement last year. (more…)

As you’ve probably guessed by now, I love reading celebrity gossip and there’s one star that never fails to grab my attention and set tongues wagging – Angelina Jolie.
A couple of weeks ago an insider apparently said that Angelina had had a tummy tuck – giving fresh steam to a rumour that has been circulating for months – but added that she didn’t want to talk about it or admit to having cosmetic surgery. (more…)

According to data taken from The Harley Medical Group covering the past five years, there has been a surge in corrective surgery catering to patients who have lost a dramatic amount of weight.
Various cosmetic procedures, such as tummy tucks, breast uplifts and male breast reduction have all seen growing popularity in the past five years as more and more previously obese people are losing massive volumes of weight. The cosmetic surgery provider conduced over 10,000 of these treatments, known as Post-Obesity Surgery (POS), and a distinct rise in figures appears in the data. (more…)

The popularity of wrinkle relaxing injections has soared worldwide, thanks in part to the struggling economy, which has meant that people have had to consider more carefully what they spend their money on. When a tight control over finances rules out facelifts and tummy tucks as procedures too expensive to justify splurging on in the current economical climate, consumers of cosmetic surgical solutions are turning to cheaper, albeit shorter term, options.
