Recent reports have suggested that X Factor panellist and music mogul Louis Walsh may be set to join his fellow judges and choose cosmetic surgery to improve his looks.

According to The Sun, the Irishman is considering surgery to remove his wrinkles following the urgings of X Factor creator Simon Cowell. Simon has apparently advised the 57 year old to have blepharoplasty – a treatment to remove the bags under his eyes. (more…)

If watching the highs and lows of Britain’s Got Talent over the last few weeks has made me feel anything – apart from general excitement! – it’s a reminder of how much more I love the X Factor. It’s the perfect show to help you wind down after a jam packed summer and, although the audition stages are the episodes that make me laugh the most, I love that it helps really talented people finally realise their dreams. Feisty Sharon Osbourne is one of those stars that you can’t help being fascinated by – especially as she’s certainly not one to keep her opinions to herself. Last week she struck out at celebrities that lie about any cosmetic surgery they’ve had done, going to far as to call them “lying b**tches”!

In a fit of vitriol, the America’s Got Talent judge slammed celebs that have procedures done but aren’t honest about it – and to tell you the truth I’ve got her back on this one. Like she says, why lie about it? There’s nothing wrong with wanting to make sure you look as good as you possibly can. Australian star Nicole Kidman came under fire in particular as Sharon pondered why the actress denied using Botox or other non surgical wrinkle relaxants when she was convinced that the fair skinned beauty does. Edinburgh singer Lisa Milbury, a contestant on popular talent show the X Factor, has divulged that she is waiting to receive cosmetic surgery following her successful weight loss over the past two and a half years.

The dramatic change, where Ms Milbury lost 18.5 stone, has left the young singer with excess skin which she hopes to have surgically removed. (more…)

Reality TV star Kerry Katona has commented on X Factor judge Dannii Minogue’s use of cosmetic surgery in OK! Magazine.

The 27-year-old ex-Atomic Kitten singer said that Dannii, who has been candid about her use of Botox in the past, does not show her emotions. She added: “Dannii really doesn’t cut it next to Cheryl Cole, who’s so full of personality.” (more…)

As much as I enjoy watching the contestants sing their hearts out on the X-Factor (although sometimes I can’t watch when the poor person really can’t carry a tune), it’s the relationships between the judges that really get me hooked. Music industry mogul and X-Factor presenter Simon Cowell has indicated that all women over 40 should undergo cosmetic surgery, according to Now Magazine.

The 48-year old, who is currently dating 34-year old Terri Seymour, once said: “I’d make it compulsory for every woman over 40 [to have plastic surgery],” the magazine states. (more…)
