Stretch Marks & Scar Removal
Stretch marks are a common problem faced by both men and women. They can appear post weight loss/gain and are often suffered by women post pregnancy.
Some skin types are more susceptible to stretch marks than others and for some patients the marks can be quite noticeable as raised white or red lines found on the arms, stomach, thighs or breast area. They can be quite unsightly causing the patient not to be able to wear revealing clothes or swimwear.
Many of us also have a scar that we would like to reduce the appearance of which are a result of an operation, the removal of a tattoo, acne, skin grafting or from an injury to the skin. These scars can be effectively treated reducing redness and their appearance.

How this treatment works
Our new treatment, suitable for most skin types and colours (not suitable for darker skin types 5 and 6 on the Fitzpatrick Scale), effectively treats the area using fractional laser technology permanently reducing the appearance of the stretch mark or scar. Fractional pulses of laser light breaks down scar tissue to generate new healthy tissue. The result is smoother skin, more even in texture and lighter in colour thus reducing the appearance of the scar or stretchmark.
This treatment pioneered in the USA is new to The Harley Medical Group in the UK. The treatment is the first and only fractional laser treatment clinically proven to improve the appearance of stretch marks and scars. This effective laser treatment has been extensively researched and is the only treatment approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of Stretch Marks and Scars.
Ongoing clinical studies have shown that patients treated achieved an average improvement of between 51% and 75% in the appearance of their Stretch marks (Striae) or Scars.
Francesca de Angelis, MD, a leading plastic surgeon who has led the research effort, noted, "Through our ongoing clinical study, and with thousands of satisfied patients treated throughout Italy, we have found that this is the first treatment for stretch marks that truly works."Contact us to book your FREE Computerised Photo Imaging Skin Analysis to assist you in achieving younger and healthier looking skin.
