thread vein removal - treatment care

How long will a thread vein removal treatment last?

How long thread vein removal treatment lasts varies from person to person. In most cases the same veins will not reoccur, but new veins can appear in other areas of your body which might require treatment. For lasers and IPL (Intense Pulse Light) treatments, we normally recommend on average 2 to 3 sessions to leave your skin feeling smooth and blemish-free. For sclerotherapy, the number of treatment sessions depeonds on how many areas needs to be treated, we normally recommend on average 4 treatments.

Things to consider

It's essential that you attend a Registered Clinic and are consulted prior to your treatment by a Registered Nurse so that a tailor made treatment programme can be started. Your Nurse Counsellor will be able to advise you on the treatment plan which is most suitable for you to achieve your desired results. Your Nurse Counsellor will run through all of this information in thorough detail with you at your consultation and will assess your suitability for this treatment.
