Our founded-on care approach is at the heart of everything we do and due to the escalating nature of COVID-19, it is so important we play our part in helping to support and protect our NHS colleagues over the coming weeks.
Due to the immense pressure on our NHS at this time, it is essential that all resources are focused on those sadly affected by the COVID-19 situation.
“As always, the ongoing safety and care of our clients and teams is our absolute priority. All our decisions, regarding COVID-19 are made in conjunction with leading industry safety bodies as well as our expert medical teams, to ensure we are making the right decisions at the right time.
It is a hugely challenging period for our hospitals, and we are all incredibly mindful of the current surgical delays the NHS are facing, and all resource needs to be focused on those who need it most.
Therefore, we have a moral obligation to do the right thing and temporarily pause all surgical treatments to support our NHS and we’d also like to take the opportunity to thank all our amazing colleagues who are working around the clock to support those affected.”
Dedicated care for all patients who have undergone surgery will continue as normal, with our fantastic team on hand to provide support in the coming weeks.
As we navigate through these tough times, we must all play our part to keep safe and keep well.
Our passionate and knowledgeable teams will continue to keep you up to date via email and on our website with all the latest developments.
