My philosophy is to provide you with a comprehensive and thorough assessment drawing on my wide experience; thoughtful and considered advice after listening carefully to your concerns; treatment carried out with attention to detail and follow up during your recovery with consideration and care. I am driven to excellence in patient management and I find patients' appreciation the highest personal reward for meticulous care.
I read Medicine at Leicester University Medical School. After qualification, I took up a teaching appointment at Oxford University. I then trained in general and vascular surgery in Oxford University associated hospitals, Hammersmith Hospital (Royal Postgraduate Medical School), Leicester University, Newcastle upon Tyne and Sydney, Australia. I also developed a vascular laboratory at Leicester, where I pursued my research into the assessment of vein function. For this original research I was awarded my Doctorate in Medicine (MD).
