A beauty cream that could give you wrinkles â and why we all want it!
30 June 2015
You might be surprised to see a beauty advertising campaign fronted by a sweet old lady with deep set lines and wrinkles - but bear with us, the message behind this new ‘ageing’ moisturiser is genius.
Breast Cream is the result of a collaboration between a New Zealand beauty brand and the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation. It’s a moisturiser designed specifically for breasts, to help women check for lumps, bumps and changes when applying it.
The key to surviving breast cancer is detecting the disease early and the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation reports as many as 50 per cent of cases are found outside of mammogram screenings.
Breast Cream is therefore designed to add a daily breast check into every woman’s beauty routine; increasing their chances of spotting any potential problems quickly. So that they live longer… and get wrinkles. Brilliant!
Each product comes with a comprehensive advice booklet, detailing the warning signs women should look out for and instructions on how to properly check their breasts.
It’s a question many women with a terminal diagnosis wrestle with, ‘if I’d known sooner, would things be different for me now?’ and so Breast Cream is part of a long-term behaviour changing project the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation is promoting.
