A UK lottery promoter says one in 10 of the people who play its games would make plastic surgery their first purchase if they were to scoop the jackpot. Euromillions, which runs and promotes the game of the same name which is played in the UK and eight other European countries, commissioned research which has uncovered a vain streak which underlies players' passion for playing the game. Of 4,000 people questioned, one in five would embark on a designer clothes shopping spree, while one in seven (14 per cent) would hire a personal trainer to help them get into shape.Liverpudlians were among those most inclined to undergo cosmetic surgery after a big win, with a quarter saying they'd look to go under the knife. Mancunians and Londoners, on the other hand, would rather have a clothing overhaul first, with 29 per cent and 28 per cent respectively in these regions saying they'd dash out and put some designer names in their wardrobe.
