Emmerdale star girl Linda Lusardi has said that she would consider having a facelift, as the actress turns 50 this year.

According to Now Magazine, the former topless model told The People that a facelift would be the primary cosmetic surgical operation that would attract her to going under knife. She said: "I think too much can't go wrong if you're just tucking a bit of skin away."

However, the star - who was voted the Best Page Three Girl Ever in 2005 - refrained from saying that she would undergo any breast surgery in the future, claiming: "They're alright but nobody sees them now anyway... They can be kept in place with Wonderbras and exercise."

Unlike many celebrities of her generation and line of work, cosmetic surgery has not been a defining element of Linda's career. In the past, she has been accused of having cheek implants, a procedure that she denies.

What's more, she recently told the Daily Mirror that she has considered Botox in the past, but has not yet received the popular wrinkle relaxing injections.

In the UK, facelifts and eye bag removal surgery are the most popular anti-ageing cosmetic procedures among women aged 50 to 55.

In related news, Katie Price - a model who has arguably taken up Linda's mantle in the 21st century - lashed out at ex-pop stars Victoria Beckham and Kerry Katona at the launch of her new perfume this week.

The model recently underwent breast reduction surgery, after years of multiple breast enlargements.
