As she stepped out alongside her husband at his inauguration as President of the most powerful nation in the world, Michelle Obama won many plaudits for her chunky fringe. Dubbed by many style-watchers a 'hair botox', Mrs Obama's fringe is, according to Kirsty Blake Knox of the Dublin-based Herald newspaper, "a pain-free way to knock years off without going under the knife."It's the perfect camouflage for those tell-tale frown lines," she added. "It gives girls something to hide behind," hairdresser to the stars Dylan Bradshaw said. "It's the perfect way to give your hairstyle and your face an instant lift." But, Blake Knox added, the look isn't restricted to women 'of a certain age'. Many other glamorous women have rocked the full-fringe look in recent times, proponents including Beyonce, Katy Perry and Eva Longoria. However, Michelle Obama is bringing the latest styles onto a worldwide stage at the highest level: "She looks good. She always looks good," said Bradshaw.
