Americans skipping lunch for dermal fillers and laser hair removal

Americans are skipping lunch in favour of cosmetic treatments such as dermal fillers, laser hair removal and permanent make-up. According to FaceForum.com, this is a growing trend, and one that makes sense in today’s society. Shawn Miele of the cosmetic surgery and anti-ageing forum said: “The notion of lunch break cosmetic surgery is pretty compelling, when you think about it. “There are people who literally do pass up the lunch truck and head straight for their plastic surgeon’s office.”According to Miele, lip augmentation, laser hair removal and chemical skin peels are the most popular “lunch break” treatments. “If I were asked to explain their appeal, I’d reinforce that there’s something to be said for being able to get in, get out and get on your way – with little down time, quick results and minimally invasive forms of treatment,” added Miele.
