Eurovision winners Bucks Fizz will reunite for a cosmetic surgery makeover show on cable channel Living TV, according to the Daily Mail.

The 1980s pop group, who rocketed to fame after triumphing at the Eurovision Song Content in 1981 with Making Your Mind Up, will go under the knife on the show in preparation for a comeback concert.

Bucks Fizz have seen a variety of line-up changes since 1981 but, according to the daily newspaper, the programme will feature original members Cheryl Baker, 54, Jay Aston, 47, Mike Nolan, 54, and Shelly Preston, who took Aston's place in the group in 1985.

Although no details have yet been released on which cosmetic procedures the former band members will undergo, it is widely expected that they will experience a selection of anti-ageing treatments, which could include facelifts and Botox.

The television show, scheduled to hit screens in October, will be titled 'Pop Goes The Band' and will feature fellow 1980s chart-toppers, Bananarama. Soul diva Chaka Khan will also appear, as will two 1990s pop groups: boy band 911 and girls' favourites, Cleopatra.

Cosmetic surgery shows have risen in popularity on UK television in recent years, with the likes of 10 Years Younger raising the profile of particular aesthetic treatments.

Research published in an Australian medical journal last week, for instance, showed that more patients in the UK were seeking cosmetic surgery than ever as a result of the success of reality TV shows, with demand rising the most for anti-ageing treatments like facelifts and eye bag removal.
