Cat Deeley sees cosmetic surgery in her future
06 August 2010Cat Deeley has revealed that she will likely consider cosmetic surgery when she gets older, if she feels having treatments will help her hold on to her youthful complexion. The British TV star, who currently presents the hit show So You Think You Can Dance, said she would consider treatments such as Botox to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and feels lucky that she hasn't needed it so far. "I havent had any Botox, nips or tucks. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't in the future," Cat told The Mirror. "Nothing bothers me that much at the moment. Whether that would change as I get older, I don't know. "I wouldn't want to change the expression on my face because of the job I do. I'm very expressive and I wouldn't want to lose that." The 33-year-old also said there is a great deal of pressure on women to look young in the entertainment business, both in the United States and back home. "It's quite difficult for women getting older in the entertainment industry and it's much tougher for women than it is for men," Cat revealed. "Sadly, it's just one of those things. There is a huge double standard." Having presented the American version of So You Think You Can Dance since 2006, Cat returned to British screens to host the UK version earlier this year.
