Cheryl Cole advocates cosmetic surgery honesty
22 September 2009Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has long been the source of cosmetic surgery speculation in the media. Although the singer claims never to have undergone surgery herself, she has publicly stated her support for cosmetic surgery procedures as a means for people to increase confidence and satisfaction in their bodies. The 26 year old star was the subject of cosmetic surgery rumours when pictures sparked rumours that the singer had had breast implants. While she still swears that she has never had a boob job, Cheryl told Showbiz Spy that she would be honest about it if she had, expressing that she has no issues with people wishing to modify their bodies. Cheryl explained: "I've got nothing against cosmetic surgery. "I mean, if someone hasn't got any boobs and having them done is going to make them a happier, more confident person, then go for it. "I wouldn't deny it if I had cosmetic surgery. I wouldn't just come out with big boobs and say, 'No, I haven't had an operation!'" While Cheryl Cole's cosmetic surgery rumours would seem to be just that, her fellow Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh has also stated her support for cosmetic surgery. Last month, the 27 year old revealed: "Iím constantly on a diet. Iím not confident or comfortable with my body. I wouldnít rule out surgery." While Girls Aloud are currently on hiatus, all members have been pursuing solo projects. Cheryl Cole will release her debut solo album Three Words on 26 October.
