Cindy Crawford reveals she’s used Botox

03 December 2009

Former supermodel Cindy Crawford has revealed that the secret to her enduring beauty is thanks to a little help from cosmetic surgery. The 43-year-old model is still holding on to her youthful appearance, which she attributes to her skincare line, healthy lifestyle and Botox treatments. According to Make Me Heal, Cindy explained: "There's a doctor here in London who I’ve gone to for Botox. I did a whole skincare line with him. But I haven’t done Botox for ten years. And I didn’t do collagen, I don’t think." The model also revealed that she had considered undergoing further plastic surgery, but is still happy with her appearance at present, stating: "don’t get me wrong, I think I’m holding together pretty good." Plastic surgeons have praised Cindy for providing a strong role model for women entering middle age, demonstrating that they can still look great into their 40s. Dr David Shafer stated: "Cindy Crawford looks great. Apparently she admits using Botox and it is doing well for her. It does not appear that she has undergone any other invasive procedures." Despite ending her modelling career in 2000, Cindy continues to endorse a number of beauty products and charities, and has designed a furniture line titled The Cindy Crawford Home Collection. Her impact on the fashion world has been considerable, with designer Michael Kors stating: "Cindy changed the perception of the ‘sexy American girl’ from classic blue eyed blonde to a more sultry brunette with brains, charm, and professionalism to spare."
