Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has revealed that she has considered cosmetic surgery in order to improve her appearance and "look like Cheryl Cole", Closer magazine reports.

The 38-year-old Wild at Heart actress sits on the panel alongside Piers Morgan and notorious plastic surgery fan Simon Cowell on the weekly talent show. It appears that seeing Cowell's co-judge on similar show The X Factor has got her thinking about going under the knife herself.

Having already undergone wrinkle-relaxing injections, Holden is no stranger to cosmetic procedures - though she says that she would like to wait a while before having any surgery. She told Closer: "When I'm 50 I'll have an eye-lift. And maybe by then they'll have invented a procedure where I can peel off my face and put someone else's on.

"Then I'd be able to look like Cheryl Cole! She’s gorgeous."

Spending hours on set with Simon Cowell may have opened Holden's eyes to the varied possibilities of cosmetic surgery. Cowell is a proud Botox fan and has also spent a lot of time with cosmetic surgery pro Sharon Osbourne, who makes a point of openly discussing what procedures she has undergone and those she is considering having next.

In the past, Osbourne has criticised celebrities who deny having received plastic surgery. Last year, she denounced celebrities, including Nicole Kidman, who hide cosmetic surgery and encouraged them to speak up for the good of women across the world.

Speaking on US chat show Chelsea Lately, she said: "If something bothers you, it doesn't make you happy, then change it. What's the deal? I don't get what the mystique is, why people lie about [having cosmetic surgery]."
