Cosmetic Surgery could require more down time
17 March 2015
The Medical Board of Australia has drafted a proposal which could see patients have to undergo a âcool offâ period before the procedure is carried out.
Once patients have had a consultation they could have to wait seven days before the procedure is carried out, to have time to research the procedure and every possible outcome.
The Medical Board of Australia wants patients to fully understand what the procedure includes and what the outcome may or may not be, it wants to ensure that the design the patient makes is the right one before a Cosmetic Procedure is carried out, particularly if irreversible.
