Cosmetic surgery fan Cheryl Cole voted 'most inspirational' woman
23 March 2010Cheryl Cole has been voted the most inspirational women of the Noughties by readers of a cosmetic surgery website, because of her successful career and stunning looks. More than a quarter of voters at goodsurgeonguide.co.uk chose Cheryl as their top inspiration due to her natural beauty, which is rumoured to have been enhanced by treatments including a boob job and nose job in her past, as well as Botox more recently and fillers to plump up her lips. The X Factor judge also stated that women should be open about their cosmetic surgery, saying: "If someone hasnt got any boobs and having them done is going to make them a happier, more confident person, then go for it." Dame Helen Mirren was runner-up to Cheryl as the most inspiring woman of the last decade. Although Helen is renowned for holding on to her looks despite ageing, the 64-year-old said she understands the popularity of cosmetic surgery, and may even have considered treatments such as a face lift if she was in a different profession. "I think people should be allowed to do whatever they want to make themselves feel happy," Helen said. American chat show legend Oprah Winfrey was voted in third place, followed by Friends star Jennifer Aniston in fourth and acid attack victim Katie Piper in fifth place. The women voted least inspirational by readers of the website were glamour model Jodie Marsh, 'it' girl Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona.
