Infamous American country singer Kenny Rogers has been talking about the numerous cosmetic surgery procedures he has undergone in order to look younger.
Speaking to the National Inquirer, the 70-year-old claimed that he wanted to use surgery to turn back the clock after marrying a younger woman in 1997.
He said: "I'm the plastic surgery king. I'm a bionic man! Every part of my body has been scooped or something at one time...
According to celebrity plastic surgery news site Make Me Heal, Rogers has probably undergone a facelift, eye bag removal (blepharoplasty) and a brow lift. Regular Botox injections are also a likely feature of his beauty regime.
One plastic surgeon quoted on the site said: "I believe he's had upper and lower eyelid lifts performed, making his eyes look wide open. It's a good job, since it doesn't make him look too effeminate, like some men who appear to have had work done."
Cosmetic surgery might be more conventionally seen as a female domain, but increasing numbers of men are turning to aesthetic procedures in a bid to maintain their youthful appearance.
However, Rogers has also expressed some reservations on having too much plastic surgery. He said: "I didn't want to be an old man with this young girl. I didn't want to look like an old man. As you go through life, you make choices. Some are good, some are bad."
In the past, Hollywood star George Clooney has admitted to having eyelid surgery. What's more, last week, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons revealed that more men than ever are seeking Botox injections.
