Demi Moore reveals battle with weight and ageing
05 January 2012Hollywood actress Demi Moore has admitted that she has battled with her body for decades, and is only now learning to love it. The 49-year-old mother of three revealed that she has had to learn that her body is not an enemy that she needs to starve or exercise to death. In an interview published in the Harper’s Bazaar February issue, Moore talked openly about her self-confidence and how this has changed with age.“I have had a love-hate relationship with my body,” said Moore. “When I'm at the greatest odds with my body, it's usually because I feel my body's betraying me, whether that's been in the past, struggling with my weight and feeling that I couldn't eat what I wanted to eat, or that I couldn't get my body to do what I wanted it to do,” she added. The actress, who is in the midst of a high profile divorce from husband Ashton Kutcher, added that she has learnt to thank her body for ‘standing by’ her , ‘no matter what I have put you through’. She has repeatedly been rumoured to have had cosmetic surgery, from face lifts to breast implants and even a kneecap lift. But she has denied such rumours and admitted only that she was obsessed with her looks for many years.
