Desperate Housewife Teri Hatcher rumoured to have eyelid surgery

Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher still looks fresh and youthful into her 40s, which experts believe may be thanks to a little help from cosmetic surgery.Commentators have noticed a marked change in Teri's appearance in the years between her appearances in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman in the 1990s and her return to TV in the noughties - and not just the signs of ageing. Quite the opposite, in fact, as the star's recent absence of drooping eyelids has caused speculation that she may have had eye bag removal to rejuvenate her appearance. Speaking to celebrity website Make Me Heal, Manhattan-based plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer said: "Teri Hatcherís eyes do have a slight operated look. However, removal of fat pockets and tightening of the skin is not always a bad thing." This may not be the first time the 45-year-old actress has had plastic surgery either, with rumours that she had a nose job and cheek implants earlier in her career. Teri also revealed that she has used wrinkle relaxing injections to improve her complexion, stating: "In the past, Iíve had Botox and collagen." Teri is not the only Housewives star to talk about her use of Botox, as newcomer Vanessa Williams recently spoke to Working Mother about her love of the treatments. "The latest thing Iím into is Botox, which Iíve been doing every six months," 47-year-old Vanessa said. "I do it lightly because I want to have an expressive face that has movement."
