Whether you’re in your 20s or your 50s, sagging breasts are an issue most women will face at some point in their lives. From pregnancy to weight gain/ loss, and ageing, there are many reasons why your breasts may start to sag. Here are some top tips to prevent that from happening.
Yoga is great for toning your entire body so place the emphasis on upper body stretches and you’ll target your breasts too. Experts recommend the triangle pose and the cobra pose.
- Maintain your weight
By sticking to a healthy diet and undertaking regular exercise, you should find it easier to maintain your weight. Dramatic changes in weight can cause your breasts to lose elasticity, making them sag.
You can give your breasts a lift and restore their firmness with an ice massage. Rub cubes of ice in circular motions over the tops of your breasts to help tighten and tone the skin. Put your bra on straightaway for optimum results.
- Aloe vera
Aloe vera contains natural skin tightening properties which makes it ideal for preventing sagging breasts. Massage in a small amount of aloe vera gel every day for up to five weeks to restore your skin’s collagen supply.
Drinking plenty of water helps your skin to stay supple. Be sure not to let your body become dehydrated as this could lead to premature ageing, causing your skin to look dull and shrunken.
